Queensland Garden Expo is a ‘must see’ in 2024 for green thumbs and novice gardeners alike. Held in the Sunshine Coast hinterland town of Nambour from 4th to 7th July, this four-day expo is Queensland’s premier gardening event attracting visitors from all over Australia. Some of Australia’s leading gardening experts will take part in four days of lectures, demonstrations, and workshops.

What was Kate Wall up to 40 years ago in 1985 – the first year of the Queensland Garden Expo? “I was 11 years old and already gardening. When I wasn’t at school, or gardening, I would have been hanging out with our dog, chooks and geese, roaming around the neighbouring bush with my siblings and other local kids or singing Cyndi Lauper songs into my hairbrush.” At this year’s Expo, Kate has the answer to tackling weeds without involving poison. 🗓️ Kate will share her wealth of knowledge on how to take on those pesky weeds the natural way in the Kitchen Garden at 2pm today.
