HOW TO GET THERE
Free Shuttle Bus from Nambour Train Station
The Garden Expo will run a free shuttle bus from approximately 8:00am daily from the Nambour Train Station. A specially set up “Expo Bus Stop” will be located outside the entrance to the station. This service is free! The Expo bus will drop you off at the main Nambour Showgrounds entrance gate and will depart from this same point for your return journey.
Please note: This shuttle bus is not wheelchair accessible.
Travelling by Train
Nambour Showgrounds is located a short distance to the Nambour station where our free shuttle bus (see above) will aim to meet most trains.
Parking at the Showgrounds
Parking is available within the Showgrounds for $10 per car per day. Access to this is at 8am. Parking in this area is limited and not available to purchase online. (all proceeds from parking fees is donated to local service and community groups.) Gates open at 8am and we ask you not to approach the gates before this time.
Alternate Parking
- Nambour Bowls Club adjacent to the Showgrounds. All proceeds go to the operators.
- 2 locations off Donaldson Road.
- Multi storey car park in Mill Street. After parking take a short walk around the corner to the Nambour Station and catch the free shuttle bus to the Showgrounds.
Please note: Parking in some of these areas is subject to weather conditions or similar.
Travelling by Car
Two main exits off the Bruce Highway will lead you directly to the Garden Expo. Travelling south on the Bruce Highway you will take the Parklands Exit 210 and travelling north from Brisbane you will take the Nambour/Maroochydore Exit 201(follow the Big Pineapple signage).
Watch out for the lit signs that say GARDEN EXPO Traffic – next exit.
The gates do not open before 8.00am and cars queing on the road will be waved on by police.

Travelling by Bus
If you are travelling by a Sunbus service to Nambour there are a few alternatives for you to consider. If you disembark at Nambour Station you can catch the free Garden Expo Shuttle Bus to the Showgrounds. You may also wish to disembark at the Badminton Hall bus stop which is located directly in front of the Nambour Showgrounds. A short walk down the hill towards the High School will bring you to the main entrance gates at the showgrounds.
